Kermit The Frog first appeared on Sam and Friends in 1955, and other various old productions made by Jim Henson. Back then Kermit did not have a collar like the Kermit that we know today. A replica of Kermit (abstract) appears in the Youtube video, "Glow Worm" for The Muppet's 60th anniversary in 2015. The replica was later recycled into Jean Luc in Season 5.
